Green Solar Power Lamp Bloom Daylight at Night
BLOOM! Daylight at night
Green Solar Power Lamp
A lamp on solar energy for inside and outside use.
During daytime its design refers to a plant in a pot. Just like plants do it turns light into energy; photosynthesis with the help of a solar panel.
In the evening when you turn it 180 ? it becomes a lamp. Giving you back the collected daylight.
Because of quick technological advances Daylight can be seen as an introduction for products with solar panels in home.
For this reason the solar cell which forms the hart of each Daylight is fitted with a high quality TSA Step-up Converter from TSA.
Through this technology the solar cell produces up to 300% more power than a conventional solar cell.
This makes is possible for the Daylight to be recharged in the window ledge inside your home.
This waterproof Lamp is ideal for terrace, on the camping, on board, in the living room, a Childs room, etc.
Because of the absence of an electric cord Daylight can be used everywhere.

BLOOM! Daylight at night
Rebecca Potger, the designer of Daylight, based her project on the latent character traits that shy people often harbour “and that emerge only after you get to know them better”.
Potger 's word apply equally to her cleverly designed Solar lamp.
Daylight at Night
The original concept of the Daylight lamp is derived from a difficult human emotion: shyness.
When one takes the time to get to know a shy person, one may find this person harbours all sorts of delightful surprises. Similarly, Daylight is a lamp with hidden qualities that are only revealed when turned 180?.
During daytime its design refers to a plant in a pot. Just like plants, it turns light into energy; photosynthesis with the help of a solar panel . In the evening when you turn it 180? it becomes a lamp giving you back the collected daylight.
Due to quick technological advances, Daylight can be seen as an introduction for solar powered products in the home.
Design: Rebecca Potger
Rebecca Potger, Design manager and founder of Potgerdesign, graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2005.
Motivated by her passion for product design, she founded Potgerdesign, together with her partner Mart Leenaars, in January 2006.
Besides being active in client acquisition, she generates and visualises clear and innovative product concepts and further develops then into viable and producible products with a unique character.
Philosophy and Ideology
At Potgerdesign there is the feel that industrial design is much more than just an occupation... it's an ideology. This ideology is not merely about the beauty of a product, but about the attitude that the user develops towards the item.
Potgerdesign was established by designer Rebecca Potger after she graduated cum laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven in June 2005. Shaped by her philosophy, it has grown into an innovative studio with a special love for bringing people together with what can be the surprisingly soft and friendly side of new technology.
At the beginning of every project, we ask ourselves, "How can one reshape a product's essence so that the user can experience renewed intimacy and pleasure with it". We find that the answer often lies in the interaction between the user and the product. Affection through interaction.
Design
In this phase the idea is recorded on paper and digitally. We are of the opinion that working with volume models in this phase is necessary to get a realistic impression of the product.
Prototyping
Following the design phase, and in conjunction with the client, a prototype is developed in order to work out all the visual details.
Final material choices and techniques are used, or approximations thereof, in order to give the production process a headstart.
Production
The need to organise the final phase of product development is a growing trend within the business community.
Consequently, we give our clients the freedom to work this out internally or find another solution.
During this end phase Potgerdesign does stay involved to ensure that the appearance and projection of the product stays faithful to the original concept.
